Timbermark has been able to cut the cost of its entry level handheld printers thanks to a new range of machines from key supplier, Bentsai.
For the last two years, Timbermark has offered handheld printers from Bentsai with four different print heights:12.5mm (1/2”), 25mm (1”), 50mm (2”) and 100mm (4”).
Now, whilst the range of print heights remains the same, Bentsai have revamped their popular 12.5mm and 25mm printhead models and introduced new printers at much lower costs.
The B6205 is the latest model that can print 12.5mm in height with either aqueous or solvent inks. Replacing the B3 model, which cost £530, the B6205 is available to buy on our e-commerce site, T-Mark here, for £325.
Similarly, the B6210 replaces the popular B30 printer. Unlike the B30, the new model can use both aqueous and solvent inks and costs just £365, over £200 cheaper than the B30 model it replaces. It is also available on T-Mark here.
Bentsai have given their new printers a new look and standardized the sizing of the two printers so that some accessories, such as the clip-on front nozzle plate, are interchangeable between the two models.
Enhanced new features include an extended battery life and a more user-friendly interface on the touch screen for message creation.
The new B6210 printer uses the same ink cartridges as the B30. The new B6205 takes a new ink cartridge, the BB21B or BB22B, depending on whether it is for aqueous or solvent-based ink. However, the new inks are compatible with any B3 printer manufactured within the last 3 years.
Timbermark continues to offer the B40, B45, B80 and B85 models to complete the range of print heights available.
